KIDS AND KITES

Kids and kites go together like PB & J. Keep them safe while they soar with these 6 tips!
  1. Always supervise children while flying kites.
  2. Never fly kites near power lines or during thunderstorms.
  3. If a kite approaches a power line, release the string immediately.
  4. Do not attempt to retrieve a kite caught in a power line or in a tree near a power line. Call 9-1-1 and inform the authorities.
  5. Do not use metallic string on a kite.
  6. Never use metal rods or other metal parts when building kites.
